On 29 June 2022, during the 4th conference on Franco-Armenian decentralised cooperation organised by the Lyon metropolitan area and the City of Lyon in conjunction with the «Association of Armenian Municipalities» and "Cités Unies France", in the presence of Mr Terteryan’s cow, Deputy Minister for Infrastructure and Local Government of the Republic of Armenia, Ms Anne Louyot, French Ambassador to Armenia, and Ms Hasmik Tolmajyan, Armenian Ambassador to France, the Director-General of COAF (Children of Armenia Fund) Korioun Khachadourian and the President of SOLGES ENERGY, Armen Sedefian, have signed a partnership agreement to build Armenia’s first industrial smart grid demonstrator incorporating a complete chain of’1TP5Hydrogen.
The roll-out of this industrial demonstrator by our division HyGreenCo, which is the result of the expertise of French laboratories in the hydrogen sector, is a major technological innovation for the industrialisation of carbon-free energy production. Initially, it will provide a non-intermittent electricity supply to the SMART Centre set up by COAF in Debet, Armenia, and, in the long term, to the town itself. The construction of the demonstration plant, scheduled for 2023, will be followed by the deployment of several operational facilities currently under development in the country.
The SOLGES ENERGY Group is delighted with this partnership, which, with the full support of the Armenian Ministry of Energy, represents one of the first achievements of the «France-Armenia Ambitions» Roadmap signed on 9 December 2021 between France and Armenia, which aims, in particular, to increase cooperation between the two countries in the fields of sustainable development and new technologies.
The SOLGES ENERGY Group is thus continuing to roll out its innovation strategy in the production of non-intermittent renewable energy.
