We are delighted to announce that we have been selected as a winner of the call for proposals «Innovative and Sustainable Solutions for Energy Self-Sufficiency», organised by the #FASEP, for an industrial demonstration project that we are leading in #Armenia.
This appointment recognises the Group’s achievements SOLGES ENERGY, alongside the five other winners, selected from among the 20 companies that entered, for our innovative solution and our expertise in addressing the challenges of producing, consuming and optimising carbon-free energy. Over the past year, our teams have successfully set up, in partnership with French equipment manufacturers and research institutes, a pilot project that will showcase French industrial and scientific expertise on the international stage.
This is a small smart grid, which incorporates an agrivoltaic solar farm, powering a complete hydrogen production chain, which will enable energy storage and a continuous supply of electricity for Children of Armenia Fund (COAF), an iconic venue which serves as a training centre and a development initiative for community and personal growth – an innovative way of improving the quality of life in rural communities. And the entire infrastructure will be managed by an EMS (Energy Management Solution), developed by SOLGES ENERGY:
⚡A real showcase of technological innovation!!!
This project, developed in partnership with the Armenian Ministry of Infrastructure – which will be the local beneficiary of the industrial demonstrator – marks an important milestone in our growth.
Not only the demonstrator, but also the large-scale industrial projects that we are continuing to drive forward through our division HyGreenCo in Armenia, forms part of the «France-Armenia Ambitions» Roadmap signed on 9 December 2021 between France and Armenia, one of the main aims of which is to increase cooperation between the two countries in the fields of sustainable development and new technologies.
We would like to extend our particular thanks to the French Government, which, through its support scheme, is demonstrating its commitment not only to French SMEs but also to developing countries, particularly Armenia.
We would also like to thank the teams at the Directorate-General for the Treasury for their work, as well as our partners, McPhy, HELION Hydrogen Power, Eulogy, OHM ENERGY, CNRS – National Centre for Scientific Research, University of Corsica Pasquale Paoli, without whom this project could not have been organised.
Congratulations to the other five winners ECLATEC, MICR'EAU, SOC, René Toy and Co., Sustainable Development Ltd
